Notable among SURE Mechanical’s CORE Values is increased minority inclusion in the mechanical HVAC trade. To achieve this goal, SURE Mechanical is implementing a deliberate policy of targeted recruitment and training of qualifying applicants from underserved Cincinnati area communities. To this end, we have partnered with ABC (Associated Builders & Contractors) to customize their existing 4-year pipe fitter apprenticeship program to meet SURE Mechanical’s aggressive plan for inclusion.

In working toward the fulfillment of that vision, we work with community organizations and churches to recruit hard-working, enthusiastic apprentices to join our team. Our apprentices are supported and mentored by our Core Journeyman Group – a diverse group of highly skilled and experienced journeyman pipe fitters with a combined experience of approximately 100 years in a variety of mechanical construction arenas.

At SURE Mechanical, we hold all of our employees accountable for safety. We expect them to abide by our safety standard, which is modeled after the OSHA guidelines, or a project-specific standard (whichever is more stringent). All of our apprentices have a minimum OSHA 10 hour- training while our Journeymen, foremen and management staff have OSHA 30 hour -training. Additionally, overall safety supervision is provided by the Operations Manager and Project Manager.

SURE Mechanical has completed the 1.3 Million Dollar Barrett Center 3rd Floor Addition at UC Medical Center. This was our biggest project to date! Consequently we were awarded multiple projects at Jewish Hospital and West Chester Hospital all with Danis Construction. Danis Construction continues to show faith and confidence in our capabilities and these awards are a testament to the professionalism and dedication of our workforce.
