DIVERSE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Notable among SURE Mechanical’s CORE Values is increased minority inclusion in the mechanical HVAC trade. To achieve this goal, SURE Mechanical is implementing a deliberate policy of targeted recruitment and training of qualifying applicants from underserved Cincinnati area communities. To this end, we have partnered with ABC (Associated Builders & Contractors) to customize their existing 4-year pipe fitter apprenticeship program to meet SURE Mechanical’s aggressive plan for inclusion. In working toward the fulfillment of that vision, we work with community organizations and churches to recruit hard-working, enthusiastic apprentices to join our team. Our apprentices are supported and mentored by our Core Journeyman Group – a diverse group of highly skilled and experienced journeyman pipe fitters with a combined experience of approximately 100 years in a variety of mechanical construction arenas.

SAFETY

At SURE Mechanical, we feel it is our responsibility to act as stewards of our environment. We strive to manage our facility with an emphasis on conservation and recycling. The SURE Team is comprised of individuals with varying experience including several LEED projects. Our Chief Operating Officer, Chukwuma Ekwueme is a LEED Accredited Professional, and looks forward to assisting our clients in achieving their project’s sustainability standards or goals. Our LEED resources can also be supplemented through our industry partnerships, as required.
